The Ontario Horticultural Association (OHA) is a

volunteer charitable organization that encourages interest

​in gardening and related environmental issues with

horticultural society and like-minded organizatins by

​providing leadership and education.

At our November 2019 Meeting, Dan Clost of Connon Nurseries,

came to speak to the Society about ornamental grasses.  Dan

brought with him, dozens of grasses so that the members could

see the grasses up-close. He addressed the growing conditions

and best planting conditions of the different grasses. A very

​informative meeting.

At our October 2019 Meeting, Amanda Vaughan from Rainbow

Terrace Greenhouse
was the guest speaker. The company

specializes in all things garlic. Amanda showed us how garlic

was roped together and talked about the many benefits of fresh
​
​garlic.
