general meeting along with ​your payment. Thank you.
Guests are always welcome. First Visit is complimentary.

Subsequent visits are $5.00 ​payable at the door

or consider taking out a ​membership of $20.00/yr.

We meet on the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm at St. Christ Church Anglican in Campbellford (excluding January, July and August). See our meeting schedule under the meeting tab.

​Cancellation in the Event of Bad Weather

In the event of bad weather, the President will make a decision whether or not to cancel the meeting. This decision should be made by noon of the meeting day. The President will notify the rest of the Board . Members may phone one of the Board members for information regarding cancellations. Cancellations of meetings will be sent via e-mail. Those without e-mails will be phoned.  The Program's Coordinator will call the  Guest Speaker.

​The Value of Being a Member

We love to welcome new guests and new members to our meetings and events. 
Our minimal membership fee is a continuous source of funding for our activities and there are many advantages of becoming a member.
  • Informative Meetings and workshops with expert and entertaining speaker
  • Discuss Gardening topics with our expert gardeners
  • Enter floral shows and photo competitions
  • Join local garden tours and bus excursions
  • Purchase unique bulbs and seeds at a reduced rate at our meetings
  • Have fun and learn by volunteering on one of our committees
  • Meet and socialize with new friends who enjoy gardening as much as you do​

Getting the Most out of Your Horticultural Meetings
  • Attend meetings regularly
  • Get to meetings early 
  • Check out the sale table
  • Ask questions. Write your questions down and bring to the meeting
  • Share your gardening experiences 
  • Suggest topics that would interest you
  • Volunteer your time eg planting, maintaining beds, plant sales, garden tour
  •  Members can contact any of the Board for information not found in the booklet or on this website.
  • Be a willing helper eg setting up chairs, doing dishes etc
  • Enrich your knowledge of gardening by using our Lending Library
  • Take part in the Garden Tour and attend the Garden Party. Bring a guest
  • Attend some of the District meetings or the OHA Convention
  • Consider taking a turn of being a director
  • Listen to the "Let's Talk Gardening" on CKOL Thursdays at 11:10am
